The Marlins Swim Team is now hiring for our Osawatomie (The Ozone) and Gardner (Gardner Aquatics Center) locations!

The Marlins Swim Team is a summer league team owned and operated by COOL Swim Team. We practice out of both the Gardner Aquatics Center and the Ozone. Our goal is to introduce swimmers ages 5-18 to competitive swimming in a fun and relaxed environment. We emphasize stroke technique, good sportsmanship, learning how to compete and having fun! The season begins May 31, 2023 and ends mid-July. Meets are held Friday mornings.

Practices are held Monday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings at the Gardner Aquatics Center and Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings at the Ozone. You may coach at one or both locations. Coaches are expected to be on deck 10 minutes before and after practice. Applicants should be able to successfully teach all four strokes, starts, turns and other aspects of competitive swimming to swimmers of all ages. Applicants should have a professional relationship with parents, swimmers, aquatics staff and be able to pass a federal background check. Lifeguarding and WSI experience a plus but not required.

Pay: $10.00 - $15.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Gardner, KS 66030: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Experience:
