We have an excellent opportunity for an Assistant Residential Supervisor to manage the day to day responsibilities of the Residential Unit. Responsibilities include the ability to work in a trauma informed environment, youth individual and group skills, knowledge of schedules and the ability to mentor and coach team members.

Responsibilities:

• Communicate, support and link, HFA mission, vision, values, goals, and strategies to everyday work
• Establish clear, meaningful, challenging, and attainable objectives and expectations that are aligned with those of the organization
• Align the right work with the right people; delegate tasks according to people’s strengths and interests
• Ensure staff has the skills and resources to be successful
• Provide staff with coaching, training and opportunities for growth to improve their skills
• Treat staff fairly and consistently
• Share accountability when delegating and involve staff in setting their performance goals
• Oversee employees’ schedules to ensure adequate coverage and oversees client schedules to ensure they are well organized and well communicated
• Handle emergency situations which may require flexibility of both time and area assignment
• Perform all Youth Care Professional functions as required and as needed

Requirements:

• Education:
  • Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 2 years of direct care experience in a residential setting; OR
  • Associate's Degree and a minimum of 2.5 years of experience; OR
  • High School Diploma/GED and a minimum of 3 years of experience
• Valid NYS Driver's License required
• Full Covid Vaccination is required
• Must meet agency driving and insurance standards
