Assistant Supply Chain Analyst

POSITION SUMMARY
The Assistant Supply Chain Analyst will support the day-to -day transactions and documentation of supply chain operation. This role will also assist in analyzing data and providing recommendations, and help supply chain team to implement the recommendations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

- Input information into the system or data base and generate daily reports.
- Maintains logs and records of required documentation.
- Interact with cross-functional departments (such as sales & marketing, warehouse, demand planning, PMC) to respond to requests and questions.
- Assist in collecting and analyzing data to improve supply chain operations.
- Assist in overseeing inventory procedures and supply chain related activities to ensure customer requirement are met/exceeded and collaborate regularly with the internal and external teams to improve customer experience.
- Perform inventory analysis and prepare inventory reports.
- Assist in identifying supply chain risks and developing strategies to resolve the issue.
- Help track Key Performance Indicators on supply chain’s performance.
- Escalate more complex issues to operational teams.
- Other duties are assigned as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

REQUIRED EDUCATION, SKILLS and EXPERIENCE
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Statistics, Data Science or related discipline.
- Min. 1 year of data analysis in supply chain in a manufacturing industry
- Must have ability to fully utilize MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Relational Databases and SAP or any other ERP systems in order to create complex reports, spreadsheets, and other professional documents
- Must have with strong quantitative, logical and analytical skills in order to analyze data
- Familiar with supply chain processes and ability to understand data model
- Capable of reaching solutions by understanding financial and operational aspects of the business
- Highly developed verbal and written communication skills
- Must be organized and able to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Detail oriented, excellence in accuracy and possess highly established logical reasoning skills
- Ability to follow company policies and safety guidelines
LANGUAGE SKILLS
- This individual must possess good written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Must be fluent in English.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
- Ability to add, subtracts, multiply, and divides in all units of measure
- Using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ideal candidate must compute rates, ratios, and percentages and draw and interpret bar graphs.
