A Day in the Life of:
As a member of our team, you will report directly to Vice President of Business Solutions. The AVP of AbilityOne business line will have full P&L responsibility for all current and future AbilityOne contracts. This individual will be responsible for growing the AbilityOne portfolio by expanding existing contracts and by successfully bidding on new opportunities. You will supervise specific contract Project Managers and lead other subordinate staff. Your people skills will come in handy and will help you to maintain fantastic professional relationships with your fellow team members and those that we serve.

Responsibilities and Duties:
- Responsible for the growth, profitability, and diversification of SOAR365's AbilityOne business portfolio
- Develops and implements overall strategy for the AbilityOne business line aligned with the overall Business Solutions and SOAR365 Strategic Plan
- Recruit, hire, coach and develop a high-performance team to implement SOAR365's AbilityOne strategic plan
- Develops and maintains productive relationships with all governmental, program, and regulatory agencies that impact SOAR365's AbilityOne portfolio (AbilityOne, SourceAmerica, DARS, etc.)
- Maintains a culture of problem solving, partnership and collaboration that sets us up as a go-to solutions provider to our contract customers
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the AbilityOne Program and actively engaging in ongoing regulatory proceedings, both directly and through SourceAmerica, to promote the best interests of SOAR365
- Ensures operational compliance with the laws, regulations and procedures required by funding, licensing and/or certifying entities; maintains strong working knowledge of all such requirements
- Actively collaborate with other non-profit agencies (NPAs) to enhance our knowledge of and posture in the AbilityOne community
- Participates as a member of the Agency's Management and Executive Teams
- Assures compliance with all Agency policies and procedures related to sexual harassment and discrimination, the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and the Agency Human Rights plan
Requirements and Qualifications:
- College degree in a field related to position
- Minimum ten years' experience in operations, production, service provision and/or related field
- Ten years of supervisory experience
- Superior operational skills including leadership, process improvement and day-to-day business management
- Strong people management skills (listening, coaching/mentoring, empowering); proven ability to develop a team of independent problem solvers and people managers; comfortable "speaking truth to power" by deploying business logic and persuasive communication and influencing skills
- Experience in executive level decision making
- Excellent Business Communication Skills - ability to communicate orally and in writing, respond clearly to verbal and written communication, and contribute to the development of complex proposals
- Strong Presentation Skills - ability to develop and present a well-organized presentation on SOAR365's services and capabilities
- Ability to develop knowledge of rehabilitation processes, procedures, and regulatory requirements to ensure that agency meets all standards and criteria
- Experience working within government procurement process and/or the AbilityOne program would be a plus
