ASSOCIATE, CLIENT FINANCE

ABOUT ROLE:

Associate will be the day-to-day contact, responsible for assisting Client Finance with the daily tasks required to meet the financial needs of the client in a fast-paced, high volume environment. The Associate will react regular with account teams to gather information needed to complete finance and billing tasks. The associate will be responsible for proactive job cost management and for the successful completion of the tasks below for their assigned clients. The Associate must understand and comply with client contracts as they relate to compensation, billing, compliance, financial reporting and other deliverables.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prepare/Update client trackers, working with client service teams to gather appropriate information
  • Monitor and track detail on fee jobs
  • Manage various job requests through an internal company site, with the necessary support
  • Manage monthly billings and revenue tracking
  • Maintain client billing summaries
  • Address billing questions with account team or client
  • Adhere to client billing requirements – guiding internally any adjustments
  • Investigate and resolve any billing discrepancies
  • Run various financial reports from the internal system and prepare monthly AR report
  • Review and coordinate third party client billable expenses to ensure coding to the proper client
  • Provide aged AR reports to the client finance team and work to resolve any disputed invoices
  • Manage and report on estimate vs actual for all jobs, taking appropriate action when WIP is at risk
  • Monitor OOP expenses and prepare necessary job-to-job expense transfers
  • Schedule and lead monthly billing/job status meetings.
  • Assist with internal and external audits (as needed)
  • Provide and prepare time reports for labor reconciliation
  • Perform ad hoc tasks as required
  • General administrative duties


YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 0 -1 years of experience in finance related role
  • Proficiency in Excel: Vlookups, pivot tables, charts, graphs, etc.
  • Organized and detail-oriented with strong time management and follow-through skills
  • Problem-solving attitude
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • A strong team player with the ability to communicate at all levels within the organization

The base salary for this position at the time of this posting is $45,000. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including business needs, experience, level of responsibility and qualifications.
