Overview:

As part of Metabolon’s growth, we are seeking a Human Resources Business Partner to be an integral member of our Human Resources team. They will contribute both strategically and hands-on to drive results and cultivate an engaging culture as we scale and evolve the business. The HRBP provides full-cycle human resources partnerships and works closely with all levels. They will develop, lead and manage the delivery of HR services to specific client areas. This position can be onsite or hybrid (Tuesday-Thursday on-site) and reports to the Chief People Officer.

Responsibilities:
  • Strategic HRBP to the business, developing HR strategies, needs assessments, and resulting HR solutions.
  • Contribute to the business strategy by partnering with leadership to build organizational capabilities, optimize the organizational structure, and build a culture of engagement and development enabling company growth and scale
  • Builds strong relationships to offer thought leadership on organizational and people-related strategy and execution.
  • Leads and facilitates people processes across but not limited to performance management, compensation planning, succession planning, talent development, organizational planning, change management, and employee engagement.
  • Advises on organization design and develops and executes change management and communication plans
  • Works closely with managers and employees to maintain positive working relationships, build morale and engagement, and increase productivity and planning; coaches and supports managers in navigating employee relations.
  • Collaborates with managers and employees to build morale, ultimately increasing productivity and retention.
  • Conducts effective, thorough, and objective employee relations management; makes recommendations for resolution while driving a culture of trust and respect.
  • Models the Metabolon culture; promotes a culture of Diversity, Equality, and Inclusion.
  • Participate in the talent acquisition process by workforce planning, identifying top talent, and developing managers’ candidate selection skills.
  • Manages costs within an approved budget.
  • Leads and contributes to designing and delivering HR programs and projects to best attract, retain and promote a diverse and inclusive workforce.
  • Partners closely with the HR team to enable continuous improvement of the HR function.
  • Bring best practice and external perspectives to strategic and operational business discussions and people management decision-making.
  • Effectively leads, manages, and mentors direct report(s).
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Human Resources, or related discipline.
  • 7+ years related Human Resources experience, preferably in the life sciences industry.
  • People management experience required.
  • Demonstrated experience in providing hands-on HR support for diverse employee populations of 100-500 employees.
  • Learning, training, and development experience strongly preferred.
  • PHR/SPHR preferred.
  • Public and private experience preferred.
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal communication and influencing skills.
  • Global experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience in a regulated industry strongly preferred (e.g. pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, medical affairs, etc.).
  • Strong business and HR acumen, including ability to diagnose and analyze problems and drive appropriate solutions.
  • Strong leadership and the courage to propose solutions others are reluctant to address, act in the face of resistance for the best interests of the business.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal communication and influencing skills.
