Posting Summary
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking an IT Associate Director for the The Office of Information Technology (OIT)-Enterprise Service Delivery. This position is responsible for creating and maintaining a highly agile and cohesive structure to effectively coordinate enterprise IT support for Rutgers University, New Brunswick.

- Provides direct guidance to three areas: NB F/S Help Desk, After-hours support and LMS Help Desk.
- Analyzes and creates seamless processes (both user facing and internal).
- Optimizes resources to achieve the highest levels of productivity, quality and client satisfaction.
- Collaborates with the NB student Help Desk leadership as well as OIT Help Desk leaders for Newark and Camden.
- Serves as a back-up for the Associate Director responsible for the NB student Help Desk.

Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
- A minimum of eight years of relevant work experience, with three (3) of the years managerial, supervisory, or team leadership experience.
Certifications/Licenses
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Extensive project management skills in a university IT support environment.
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills required.
- Must have demonstrated ability to cooperate and work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a technical support and higher education environment.
- Leading teams of student staff and FT staff.

Under Policy 60.1.35 Immunization Policy for Rutgers Employees and Prospective Employees, Rutgers University requires all prospective employees to provide proof that they are fully vaccinated and have received a booster (where eligible) against COVID-19 prior to commencement of employment, unless the University has granted the individual a medical or religious exemption. Employees who are not eligible for a booster at the time of an offer of employment must provide proof they have received a booster upon eligibility and upload proof of same. Under Policy 100.3.1 Immunization Policy for Covered Individuals, if employment will commence during Flu Season, Rutgers University may require certain prospective employees to provide proof that they are vaccinated against Seasonal Influenza for the current Flu Season, unless the University has granted the individual a medical or religious exemption.
