Position Summary:

The Associate Director of US Hematology, Strategy and Operations will drive the definition and execution of strategy for the US Multiple Myeloma/Established Brands franchise. They will drive collaboration, cross-functional communication, and prioritization for projects, initiatives, and operations. This position partners closely with the US Vice President of Multiple Myeloma, the Pomalyst, Revlimid and Sprycel brand teams, and the US Hematology Leadership team.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensures the definition and execution of strategy for the US Multiple Myeloma Franchise:

  • Partner closely with US VP of Multiple Myeloma to outline, prioritize and scope key franchise initiatives

  • Ensure integrated and aligned US Multiple Myeloma Franchise strategy development and executional excellence, in collaboration with the US VP of Multiple Myeloma, including Brand Leads, Franchise Strategy, and Account Management.

  • Partner with US Multiple Myeloma brand leads to prioritize topics for executive leadership presentations

  • Effectively partners with key stakeholders across the BMS matrix – including BI&A Forecasting, Finance, Value Access & Payment (VAP), WW Customer Capabilities, Field Operations, and Start & Ops team

  • For key US Hem Franchise leadership meetings with Multiple Myeloma topics (e.g., Core US Hem LT, Town Hall, and HLO), owns the process to ensure materials are built in a timely manner

    • Supports agenda definition for topics across Multiple Myeloma (Pomalyst and Empliciti) and Established Brands (Revlimid and Sprycel)

    • Coordinates Pomalyst materials (reaches out to stakeholders, follows up) & organizes meetings needed to get input

    • Performs reviews needed (e.g., with Leadership/ Legal/Finance) for Multiple Myeloma content & implements comments

    • Shares action items and follows up on them

  • Facilitate MM Business Review Meetings (e.g.: monthly and quarterly business reviews) — agenda development, business scorecard development, content assembly, manage open items/updates, follow up on action items

  • Leads the operational pull through of the annual CCF process and supports strategic Brand Planning and Tactical Planning development for Multiple Myeloma Franchise

  • Proactively addresses and manages risks and issue escalation, is point of contact with Pomalyst, Revlimid and Sprycel teams to escalate topics/risks/issues and follow up on action items

  • Supports special projects across the US Hematology Strategy and Operations organization team as needed

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree required

  • 5+ years of experience in the Healthcare industry, with Marketing, Medical, and/or Field experience required

  • Strong project and process management skills, along with the ability to work on multiple tasks, and to effectively prioritize

  • Strong influence/negotiation skills and relationship management capabilities; experience working in a highly matrixed organization

  • Strong problem-solving skills and demonstrated ability to perform complex quantitative and qualitative analysis - ability to bring strategy and analysis to a tactical, executable level; results-oriented

  • Demonstrated ability to successfully and effectively collaborate and build strong relationships across Matrix partners

  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

  • Strong commitment to personal and professional growth

  • Ability to multi-task and meet strict deadlines
