The QUIKRETE Companies is seeking candidates to fill an industrial Associate Laboratory Technician position at our corporate Technical Center located in Lawrenceville, GA.

We are the leading producer of packaged construction material, including concretes, mortars, grouts, stuccos, and other related cementitious and repair products. Our extensive product line also includes polyurethanes, epoxies, and coatings.

You will be responsible for testing performance of existing mix designs, evaluating the performance of new formulations, and assessing a variety of raw materials for use in our products. We are looking to fill Associate Laboratory Technician positions in both our R&D and QA groups. Our company has continued to grow and these positions will support that growth.

The QUIKRETE Companies provides comprehensive training in our materials and laboratory techniques, as well as certification and career development. Requirements:

• Candidates may have a vocational, 2-year or 4-year college degree/diploma in science or engineering. Advanced degrees are not appropriate for this position.
• 0 to 3 years of laboratory experience or field application / testing experience, related to the manufacture of cement, concrete, mortars, or other cement based construction materials is required. Experience with paint, polyurethanes, epoxies, or coatings is also considered.
• Must be a motivated professional with good analytical thinking and communication skills.
• Must demonstrate precision, accuracy, and organized record keeping.
• Must possess a good understanding of basic science and mathematics.
