The Opportunity:

As the Associate Manager, Amazon Analytics you will be leading our sales analytics across our Amazon US retail business. This role will lead end-to-end sales, promotion, inventory, traffic, and ROI reporting, analysis, and insights driving to recommend actions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales analysis, data science, and quantitative business analysis. Additionally, they will be an expert on all things related to selling and marketing on Amazon, bringing data-driven solutions to the table that can be actioned to optimize our business.

The Associate Manager, Sales Analytics will work closely with our sales, brand marketing, customer marketing, finance, supply chain, and eCommerce teams to identify opportunities for growth, drive efficiencies, and enhance our overall customer experience across Amazon. They will be responsible for creating and presenting reports, dashboards, insights, and recommended solutions to various cross-functional teams to help drive decisions and actions.

What Your Impact Will Be:

  • Lead the development and maintenance of sales reports, dashboards, and metrics to track performance across the marketing mix, including ROI and promotional reporting, inventory reporting, traffic reporting, etc.
  • Analyze sales data from various sources to provide insights into sales performance, market trends, and customer behavior.
  • Build and maintain worksheets for inventory management and replenishment using sales, inventory, profitability, and market share data.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product management, and finance, to identify business problems and opportunities and develop data-driven solutions.
  • Monitor the competitive landscape and identify opportunities to improve the company's positioning and competitiveness on Amazon.
  • Manage sales operations processes, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and customer service.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to maximize revenue and profitability on Amazon.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to identify opportunities for sales growth and implement action plans.
  • Partner with the sales team to identify and implement strategic initiatives that drive growth and profitability.
  • Lead and support the integration of Amazon Global Reporting into our existing reporting infrastructure
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities to improve supply chain efficiency and reduce costs, including evaluating the feasibility of Vendor Flex initiatives and providing recommendations to leadership.
  • Support the implementation of Amazon Direct-to-Consumer initiatives, including monitoring performance and providing insights on opportunities to optimize the customer experience, increase revenue, and improve profitability.
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in sales analysis and operations on Amazon.
  • Bring innovative solutions to the table from the data to be actioned and be an expert on all things related to selling and marketing on Amazon.


What We’re Looking For:

  • At least 3-5 years of experience in sales analysis, operations management, or related fields, preferably in e-commerce or retail.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze large volumes of data from multiple sources to generate insights and recommendations.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and BI tools like Tableau, PowerBI, or similar.
  • Understanding of statistical concepts and ability to apply statistical models to real-world problems.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex analysis and insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge around selling and marketing on Amazon, including Amazon's retail platform and marketplace dynamics.
  • Data science capabilities and experience, including experience with machine learning, statistical modeling, and data visualization.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to bring data-driven solutions to the table.
  • Ability to collaborate and integrate across teams, both internal and external, to achieve common goals.

The annual base salary range for this position is between $92,000 and $134,000
**This range is indicative of projected hiring range, however annual base salary will be determined based on a candidate’s work location, skills and experience.
