EAH’s leading destination websites serve “enthusiast” owners of German, domestic, Japanese and Tesla vehicles, and related professional installers. EAH is seeking to strengthen our team with an Associate Manager of Turner Motorsport located in Wadsworth, OH.
Position Summary
The Associate Manager of Turner Motorsport plays a key role at EAH that requires a unique blend of market knowledge, analytical skills, and business sense. As an Associate Manager, this position is responsible for:
- Delivering financial performance (revenue, margin and expense management) at or above targeted levels.
- Managing the online web catalog on turnermotorsport.com, creating, maintaining, and executing against a roadmap that ensures best-in-class catalog, merchandising, and user experience. Maintain a strong IHB product pipeline including in-house engineered and private labeled projects.
- Establish strong cross-functional relationships; work with the Marketing team to ensure we have a proactive planning process, Sourcing and Purchasing (S&P) to ensure we have the right brands, product assortment, and inventory position. Manage EAH’s relationship with the Turner Motorsport Racing team to effectively capitalize on marketing opportunities, racing sponsorships, and the Turner Tuning Program. Finally, work closely with the telesales team to drive and support sales, create alignment between home office and the remote TMS telesales team.
Responsibilities:
1. Create an annual, quarterly, monthly budget for TMS. Responsible for delivering on weekly, monthly, quarterly goals for Revenue, Gross Profit $, and Gross Margin %.
2. Create, maintain, and execute on a roadmap that positions TMS as the best-in-class curated catalog of BMW products. The roadmap should enable us to be the leading destination for the latest and greatest BMW products with a key focus on serving BMW M customers.
3. Plan, prepare, and execute web catalog updates that keep pricing, photos, descriptions updated, pairing exciting replacement and performance products with SEO rich copy to enhance Turner’s organic SEO rankings.
4. Work closely with the S&P team to forecast and ensure we keep the right level of product in-stock to serve projected demand while weighing the inventory carrying cost. Work closely with S&P to negotiate COGS, Co-Op, and other marketing programs.
5. Collaborate with cross functional teams to create and maintain a robust pipeline of compelling in-house brand products. Define, facilitate, and manage the product lifecycle for all house brand products.
6. Work closely with the Marketing team to create inspiring go-to market strategies for new products, creating compelling emails and social media campaigns targeted at our customers.
7. Responsible for vendor relationships, building strategic roadmap in partnership with them on both new and existing products, creating win-win partnerships, and responding to vendors in a timely manner.
8. Maintain company brand integrity across all product lines, advertising and all other internal and external communications as it pertains to the respective brands. Facilitate the resolution of any quality issues with the website or products listed on the site, with a key focus on Turner branded product integrity.
9. Responsible for pricing strategy that enables us to compete but also helps deliver the Gross Margin Rate and Gross Profit Dollar budget plan.
Requirements:
- Enthusiasm and profound knowledge of BMW, vehicle marketplace, and enthusiast trends
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business
- 3-5 years of progressive responsibility leading a team to accomplish projects in a fast-paced environment
- 1-2 years of product development and project management experience. Rapidly-growing companies, self-starter, collaborate and lead cross-functional teams.
- Must have a can-do attitude and be able to work independently and collaboratively with other team members across the organization
- Results-oriented, metrics-driven leader. Possesses a continuous improvement mindset with strong analytical skills.
- Demonstrated capability of using technology to enhance and optimize processes and controls.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, web-based databases and general computer skills.
