YOU
You want to be an important member of a strong team of other makers who take pride in their work and support each other. As an Associate Project Manager, This position is responsible for maintenance of the facility and equipment to accommodate production/warehousing in a safe working atmosphere. This position will follow through with all Preventive Maintenance on Facilities, grounds, and equipment. He/she will work with outside contractors, vendors for maintaining equipment and needed inventories. This position will communicate with the Maintenance Supervisor and responsible personnel on any and all activities that affect Safety, Quality or Production. That’s year one. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING (% of Time)
Planning and prioritizing department work (45%):
- Responsible for the planning/scheduling of all facility and maintenance activities
- Planning & coordinating outside services pertaining to projects, including negotiations.
- Responsible for keeping the plant maintenance department in compliance with all Operating Permits through various inspections, record keeping and annual certifications.
- Supports and executes projects to enhance efficiencies, improve performance, and meet growth plans, including defining the scope of work, budget, schedule and responsibilities
- Responsible for creating presentations that explain projects, current status, and future goals and milestones Responsible for developing a detailed project schedule and for monitoring progress during execution.
- Responsible for providing project updates to various stakeholders. Serve as a liaison between customer and ops team.
- Responsible for tracking project costs to ensure they are within budget.
Managing and maintains the preventative and predictive maintenance programs. (CMMS) (45%)
- Track and report monthly preventative maintenance completion rates, open work orders and planned vs. reactive maintenance.
- Keep detailed records of all equipment repairs, rebuilds, and corrective maintenance history on each piece of equipment.
- Ensure all equipment and assets are included in the preventative maintenance programs.
- Evaluate and update preventative maintenance frequency based upon needs analysis
Perform various tasks as needed (10%)
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
If you can do everything listed above, you’ve got what it takes. Perhaps some of the following would be helpful too:
- Microsoft Office proficiency required.
- 4 years of Construction/Vendor management, engineering, or related field experience required.
- 4 years of Industrial projects management preferred.
- Ability to build and maintain positive working relations with staff, vendors, and clients.
- Ability to develop, coordinate and deliver on the Project Budget and Schedule.
- Excellent time management, interpersonal communication, organization and personal effectiveness skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Writing - ability to write in a clear, concise, organized and convincing manner for the intended audience.
- Reading - Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals, drawings, schematics, blueprints and electrical code.
- Analysis/Reasoning - Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
- Adaptability & Flexibility - Ability to respond positively to change, embracing and using new practices or values to accomplish goals and solve problems.
- Attention to Detail-Ability to diligently attend to details and pursue quality in accomplishing tasks.
- Teamwork-Ability to build and sustain cooperative working relationships.
- Computer-Windows based computer skills (Outlook, Excel and Word), MS Project/Smartsheet or other project management software
TRAVEL REQUIRED
This job requires 10% of domestic travel.
WORK STATUS & LOCATION
This full-time, exempt position is located in Stockton, CA.

PAY
$66500 - $86500 / Year
