Job Title: Athletic Field Monitor
FLSA Status: Non-exempt
Hours: Part-time (under 30 hours a week) Seasonal

SUMMARY
Referee and Monitor of Athletic Events. A referee or simply ref is the person of authority in a variety of sports who is responsible for presiding over the game from a neutral point of view and making on-the-fly decisions that enforce the rules of the sport, including sportsmanship decisions such as ejection.
QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum age is 15. Available to referee at least 5 Saturdays of the 8 week season. Ability to make quick decisions and blow a whistle, loud.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Ability to run up and down the field as the ball is played. Setting up and taking down equipment. Picking up trash and dumping in the dumpster.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: Competitive but friendly and fun.
