IMMEDIATE OPENING for a full-time Emergency Room Physician at Ft. Campbell, KY

Responsibilities:

Duties include but are not limited to the following:

• Perform a full range of medical services within the scope of Emergency services or Urgent Care to all patients and eligible beneficiaries regardless of underlying disease process or physical condition of such patients or beneficiaries.
• See patients triaged as urgent/acute vice emergent in a timely manner and not less than three patients per hour during times when emergent workload is low.

Qualifications:

• Must be a Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy( D.O) from an accredited college approved by the Council of Medical Education and Hospitals of the American Medical Association or Doctor of Osteopathy from a college accredited by the American Osteopathic Association.
• Must have and maintain a current, active, valid unrestricted license in one of the 50 states in the US, the District of Columbia, the commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam, or the U.S Virgin Islands.
• Must be residency trained and boarded in Emergency Medicine (EM) as certified by the American Board of EM, American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine or shall have successfully completed an approved residency training program in emergency medicine and be board-eligible in Emergency medicine at a minimum.
• Must be board certified in Emergency Medicine or be board certified in Internal Medicine or Family Practice and have extensive current emergency medicine experience
• Must have a minimum of one (1) year experience within the last two years as a staff Emergency Medicine Physician
• Certifications in addition to Basic Cardiac Life Support BCLS) ER Physician must have Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). Certification must be obtained through an American Heart Association approved training program).
• Must have and maintain a current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration number.
