Job Summary

To be responsible for development, testing and implementation of control system source code, also to include audio (DSP) programming and implementation. This would include in-office and on-site commissioning of developed code.

Responsibilities

• Translate customer requirements into professionally presented and easy to use systems
• Design and custom coordinate graphical user interfaces (GUI) for end user facing touch panels
• Develop and test AV control system programming
• Troubleshoot and debug control system programming and AV systems
• Red line engineered drawings when changes are made and return to engineering job documentation in company database
• Complete training programs and gain certifications for manufacturers, industry associations and company as required

• Communicate and interact with internal employees, clients and colleagues in a professional and timely manner
• Proven business writing skills
• Proficient with test and calibration equipment
• Advanced computer skills as required for the design, configuration, and operation of AV equipment
• Ability to work and think independently and meet deadlines
• Effective communication and interaction with employees, clients and colleagues
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals such as TCP/IP, addressing, firewalls, routers and VPN
• Familiarity with GUI design and graphics applications
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks as well as changing priorities
• Valid Driver’s License

Education

• CTS or NSCA equivalent
• Crestron Smart Graphics (CTI-SG)
• Crestron CTI-P201 Core Systems Programming
• Crestron CTI-P301 Advanced Programming Skills Preferred
• Extron GC-Pro Certified
• Digital Signal Processors (Biamp, Symmetrix, Extron, Clearone, & others
• Video Conferencing System training (Polycom, Cisco, Radvision, Vidyo & others)
• Formal education in Electronics or related field preferred
• Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• At least 5 years of AV experience is preferred

Pay: $13.00 - $33.00 per hour
