EPCOR is looking for a dedicated Auditor to propel our growing Advisory Service practice. This position uses professional discretion in applying audit procedures necessary to perform audits and risk assessments.

Position Summary:

The Audit Manager is responsible for conducting on-site and remote ACH, Remote Deposit Capture, Wire Transfer, other payment systems audits and risk assessments for EPCOR members and clients to assess compliance with the NACHA Operating Rules and FFIEC Guidelines. All Advisory Services will be conducted in a manner and timeframe consistent with EPCOR’s Advisory Services policies and procedures.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct client and members onsite and remote audits/risk assessments to assess compliance with ACH Rules, regulatory requirements and FFIEC guidance.
  • Perform exit interviews with client staff and/or senior management to provide preliminary audit findings and address any outstanding questions.
  • Complete audit/risk assessment report for each engagement.
  • Assist with updating EPCOR audit/risk assessment related publications and services.
  • Contribute to EPCOR’s print and electronic communications and actively participate in EPCOR’s Online Knowledge Community on issues related to expertise.
  • Contribute to the association’s ongoing efforts to provide support, service and value to the members.
  • Travel 25-30% annually for onsite audits/risk assessments as well as industry events and training.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Provide phone and email support to members.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams, as requested.
  • Provide on-site support at EPCOR events, as required.
  • Perform other job-related responsibilities and tasks other than those noted herein, depending on the needs of the association.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent desirable
  • Three years’ experience in financial institution operations, audit, risk, or compliance

· Comprehensive knowledge of the ACH Network and other payment systems, particularly in the rules compliance a Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

· Knowledgeable in project management and audit software

· Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented

· Works with a high degree of accuracy

· Requires limited supervision to plan and accomplish goals

  • Willingness to travel 25-30% annually
  • Individuals living in the Kansas City and surrounding areas work in the Crown Center Kansas City office on site.

Preferred Qualifications:

· AAP, APRP, CIA, CPA, and/or NCP Certifications

· TeamMate audit software experience helpful

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
