Family Support Center specializes in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of Autism Spectrum Disorder. We provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to children age 2-18 in one of our local centers, in the home, and in the community. Description of role:

Performs diversified administrative and secretarial functions. Attends to visitors and deals with inquiries both on the phone and face to face. Supply information regarding the organization to clients and the general public. Oversee the scheduling needs of the patient and clinicians to ensure the patients schedule allows them to receive the amount of services their treatment plan indicates The Scheduler will need to manage both the needs of the family, the assigned clinicians, and the clinic as a whole.

Tasks:

Maintain front office & waiting room. Enter time adjustments daily. Schedule client appointments. Place appointment reminder calls to clients. Call all families when there is a change of BT (both for home and center sessions, unless the change is with a BT already on the child’s team). Reschedule missed or cancelled services. Make phone calls / send emails for coverage when BTs are out sick. Screen and prioritize incoming telephone calls, visitors and emails. Respond to requests from clients, staff and any referral source timely.

Skills and requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent. Minimum of two years of healthcare administration experience, preferably in a adolescent / child health setting. Excellent customer service skills. Behavioral health business office experience a plus.

Work schedule:

Variable hours, days. Full-Time. May include Saturdays.

Current schedule Tuesday through Saturday 7a to 4p (1 hour lunch daily).

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $16.00 to $18.00 /hour
