CARSTAR Wilson Collision Center in Gastonia, NC is looking to hire a full-time Auto Body Technician to complete repairs at our body shop. Do you love cars? A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN AUTO BODY TECHNICIAN
In this position, you are vital to the operations of our body shop. When customers bring their cars in, you inspect their exteriors thoroughly. Based on your findings, you help put together a work order. Then, you perform a variety of repair services, checking your work as you do so to ensure that everything is correct according to local regulations and company standards. Safety is your number one priority as you use various tools and equipment. Throughout your shift, you make sure to clean up after yourself and keep the shop clean. You love helping our customers get back out on the road in style!
QUALIFICATIONS FOR AN AUTO BODY TECHNICIAN
- 1+ years of auto bodywork experience
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to acquire necessary tools
An Inter-Industry Conference on Auto Collision Repair (I-CAR) certification would be a plus! Are you coachable? Do you get along with others easily? Are you a team player? Do you have excellent organizational skills? Can you pay close attention to detail? If yes, you might just be perfect for this automotive position!
WORK SCHEDULE FOR AN AUTO BODY TECHNICIAN
This body shop position is full-time and typically works 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday.
