Auto Body Technician
Mackin’s Auto Body is currently seeking experienced Auto Body Technicians for our Tesla location. Mackin’s Auto Body is a family and local owned business since 1945 and has built partnerships with numerous insurance carrier’s which helps maintain consistent work throughout the year.
We are looking for master technicians who thrive to improve productivity and quality of work. The ideal candidates have a minimum of 2 years’ journeyman experience and are I-Car certified. In addition to being skilled body technicians, we are looking for dependable team players who possess good work ethics while maintaining clean and safe work environment.

Requirements
- 2 + years’ journeyman experience
- I-CAR certified
- Disassemble and reassemble vehicle components
- Setting up, measuring, pulling, straightening and replacing frames and unibody
- File, grind, sand and smooth filled or repaired surfaces to match original contours
- Fit and weld replacement parts into place, using wrenches and welding equipment
- Remove, repair and straighten damaged panels and sheet metal alignment
- Write supplements
- Must have own tools
- Remove and discard damaged materials, responsible for cleaning work area
- Able to work under time constraints and pressure
- Valid driver’s license
