Tri County Transportation is looking for a full time Mechanic at our Punxsutawney location. Completes preventative maintenance inspections, maintains fluid levels, and repairs and replaces interior and exterior lighting, doors and mirrors, brakes on all systems (hydraulic and air), safety equipment, basic electrical components, and basic air conditioning. Completes road calls.

· High school diploma or GED required. Preference given to those with a technical or automotive school accreditation.

· 2-4 years of vehicle mechanic experience required.

· Must acquire and maintain a valid PA Class B CDL with air brake restriction removed and a passenger and school bus endorsement.

· Certified PA state inspection license preferred.

· Will need to acquire additional certifications in order to advance to higher classification levels

· Safety sensitive position requires random drug and alcohol testing.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $38,000.00 - $48,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Experience:

• Automotive Repair: 1 year (Preferred)
