Automotive Lot Technician (Waverly, OH):

This position is full-time, and applicants MUST HAVE a clean driving record

Hometown Chevrolet in Waverly seeks multiple Lot Technicians to support our sales and service staff. Our Lot Technicians are responsible for cleaning incoming vehicles, as well as sold vehicles. Lot Technicians will also safely rearrange cars on the lot. Lot Technicians will ensure the lot stays clean and free of debris.

Responsibilities Include:

• Washing/Drying Vehicle Exteriors
• Sweeping Vehicle Interiors
• Grounds Keeping, i.e., trash removal/lot debris removal
• Perform other duties of a similar nature as may be required

Requirements:

• Must possess a valid Driver’s License
• Ability to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmissions
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with dealership personnel and follow directions precisely
• Operate all vehicles in a safe manner and compliance with all applicable company policies and procedures, traffic laws, and regulations
• Observe rules of the road and demonstrate courtesy and defensive driving techniques
• Work effectively in a team atmosphere
• Vision abilities required. Close, distance and color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
• Constantly required to enter and exit vehicles

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour
