ADESA is looking for a dedicated Automotive Paint Technician to work as part of our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for painting and refinishing of repaired vehicles. If you are a car enthusiast and love working in a fast-paced team environment, this job is for you!
Our Paint Techs Are:
- Proud Ambassadors. The work you dodirectly impacts how that vehicle performs at our auctions and affects the bottom line of revenue generated; pride in your work is a non-negotiable.
- Responsible for all necessary preparation work prior to painting as well as the paint booth and paint needed. You will ensure all vehicles are properly cleaned and dusted prior to painting.
- Team players. You have a desire to be a part of a team-based environment where each member relies on the other to keep a steady flow and maintain a strong communication between your team-mates and management. You may be asked to assist the Finish and Refinish process to maintain a steady vehicle flow.
- Knowledgeable. You can spot aftermarket repairs, part replacements, collision repairs, and any hidden damages with high attention to detail to ensure the work you do is done right the first time.
- Safe. We have a high regard for safety, you should too.
- Skilled. In your role, you excel at the preparation and execution of painting repaired vehicles by mixing paints, preparing the paint booth, and taping additional areas prior to painting. You are capable of operating tools such as electric sanders, paint guns, buffers, and air blowers.

We Require:
- Motor vehicle/criminal background checks for all positions
- Pre-employment drug screen required
- A valid Driver’s License and the ability to operate standard or automatic vehicles
- Basic computer skills to operate paint mixing equipment
- Previous experience in a paint and body repair environment
