Automotive Painter/Refinish Technician/Autobody Painter
- Perform all paint and refinish operations with a high level of proficiency (Quality and Production)
- Perform final prep, masking, and tack for paint application.
- Identify the proper color and variant for application.
- Make spray-outs and let-down panels as needed for color/coat verification.
- Stage paint operations to maximize each paint booth run.
- Comply with all hazardous waste disposal guidelines.

- Assist in material orders and maintain the mixing room to ensure supply is maintained.
- The duties and responsibilities described are not a comprehensive list and additional tasks may be assigned, or the scope of the job may change as necessitated by business demands.
- Use proper respirator and all PPE for the task.
- Five years minimum automotive refinishing experience with Waterborne paint.
- ASE certification preferred Toyota certification a plus.
- Willing to complete all Toyota training requirements and pass ASE B2.
- Previous experience using Color Net preferred.
- Valid driver’s license required; clean Motor Vehicle Record, ability to drive manual transmission vehicles.
- Ability to communicate effectively with others.
- Strong organizational skills, with attention to detail, quality, and production oriented required
- Ability to lift and carry up to 45 pounds as well as demonstrate full range of motion. (Bending, squatting, standing, and sitting for extended periods of time as well as grasping and full use of hands)
- Excellent work and attendance record with demonstrated flexibility to work overtime and occasional Saturdays as needed.
- The VPC’s core operating hours are Monday – Friday / 6:00 am – 2:15 pm
