Automotive Service Manager

Seeking a RECON SERVICE MANGER

$85,000/yr BASE PLUS BONUSES!

EARN UP TO $105,000+/yr (based on experience)

Our very busy, high-volume service department is GROWING and we are seeking an experienced, dedicated & motivated Service Manager to help provide more structure and increased productivity in our service center.

*Minimum of 2-4+ years previous related experience and/or training is preferred and management experience is required

Our Service Manager's Role & Responsibilities Include but are Not Limited to:

-Supervising a team of up to 15 people, delegating and directing service tasks & monitoring projects

-Manage the entire process of vehicle reconditioning, working with the service department's four Assistant Managers to ensure service production goals are met each month

-Forecast new goals and objectives for the department while implementing procedures to meet those goals

-Prepare and administer the annual operating budget for the service department

-Work with Customer Service Manager to ensure good customer relations

-Work with the Administrative Clerk to manage department paperwork

-Perform internal audits of the Service Department to ensure standards, efficiency and production goals are met

-Handle all hiring tasks to include hiring, firing, motivating, training, counseling & monitoring of personnel

-Monitor technicians' daily production reports and corresponding payroll records

-Carrying out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws

The ideal candidate will have:

-2-4+ years minimum experience in a Reconditioning, fleet, rental or dealership service business is PREFERRED

-Previous Management experience is REQUIRED

-Experience meeting production goals and MOVING INVENTORY in VOLUME is PREFERRED

-Familiarity with All Data shop software is a PLUS

-Basic computer skills

-Strong INDUSTRY Knowledge is NEEDED

-Prior Service Tech, Shop Foreman or Service Manager experience is a PLUS

-A positive attitude, strong work ethic, high level of motivation and energy

-Management/supervisory experience is REQUIRED

-Good communication skills, both written and verbal

-Be a well-organized, multi-tasker, with good time management skills

-Great people skills and the ability to motivate and lead a team

-Ability to work under time constraints in a fast-paced environment to meet production goals

-Strong analytical skills, creative thinking and the ability to solve a problem

-Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a PLUS
