JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

  • Must possess a valid US Driver's License and possess the ability to drive a vehicle with passengers.
  • Must have at least 3-5 years of practical experience working as an automotive technician.
  • Knowledge and skill of how to perform a thorough inspection on a passenger automobile for the purpose for finding service and repairs needed based on miles and condition of the vehicle.
  • Accurately perform maintenance and repair on customer vehicles: Technicians are expected to be experts in their craft and are expected to complete services and repairs with excellence, integrity, precision, and extreme care.
  • Technicians are also expected to inspect each vehicle and quote any needed repairs and services. At times technician will be asked to speak with customers to discuss needed automotive repairs and services as well as answering any questions the customer may have. Great customer service skills are required.
  • Identify problems with vehicles using the diagnostic equipment, look up repair instructions, etc.
  • Plan repair procedures using charts manuals and experience.
  • Test the functionality of parts and systems
  • Perform basic auto care and maintenance tasks such as oil changes, fluid level checks, and tire rotation.
  • Repair and replace brake pads, wheel bearings, sensors and other parts.
  • Perform routine maintenance and general mechanic work on vehicles.
  • Has Proof of Certification
  • Help keep repair shop clean, safe, organized, free of debris and other hazards.
  • Keep a professional appearance.
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs or more without assistance.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Temporary, Internship

Pay: $15.00 - $40.00 per hour
