Automotive Technician Responsibilities

• Diagnose and Repair vehicles with efficiency and in accordance with dealership expectations.
• Solve Technical problems quickly and effectively with the team. Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Enhance the customer experience by following our high standard of service processes and customer experience expectations. Whether that is communicating with the customer by video or with the Service Advisor team.
• Comfortable utilizing apps on your phone to do multi point inspections of customers vehicles with video.
• Keep Service Advisors and customers informed if any additional services are needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.

Qualifications

• ASE Certification
• Strong understanding of the service drive
• Dexterity, requiring a steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordination
• Mechanical and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Basic computer competencies
• Positive, friendly attitude, along with a customer service mentality
• Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
• Team player with ability to collaborate with others effectively
• Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications
• Able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
• Comfortable with mobile device usage and multiple apps or video functions
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Willing to submit to pre-employment drug screen and background check

Pay Range $18.00-$34.00 to start
