Wiscasset Ford Service is a family-owned busy volume dealership. The service department is under new management and have seen growth in both customer pay production and customer service scores but we are looking to get even stronger by adding to our service team. We are excited to announce that we will be modifying the facility starting late this year! We are looking to add technicians of all skill level. We would love the opportunity to train someone who is looking to start their career in automotive repairs. We pay our technicians for multi-point inspections. We offer production bonuses (if you produce 50+ hours we give you an additional 2 dollars per hour for all hours produced on that pay period. If you produce over 55+ hours we will pay you $3 more per hour on that pay period). We will cover transportation costs to get your tools to the dealership.

Full Job Description

We have multiple positions available.

Experienced Auto Technicians - Flat Rate, Top Pay and offer modified flat rate while training on our new systems and processes up to 6 months. Modified flat rate means we will pay you hourly but if you produce more hours than you worked, we will pay you those hours. We offer production bonuses. We will also pay for your training.

Entry Level Technicians - Hourly Pay Opportunities. Training on the job

Experienced Auto Technician

Wiscasset Ford is looking motivated, dependable people to fill multiple positions. We want the best and are willing to compensate accordingly. Currently our flat rate technicians are earning hours 20% over hours they are on site. Our most proficient is earning 50% over the hours their clocked hours. That is with an appointment schedule that has been capped. We want you to be driven/self-motivated because we are extremely busy. You should be proficient in all vehicle repairs and be certified in brakes, exhaust, suspension, air conditioning, electrical, transmission, gas and diesel engine repairs. Pay will be reflective in certification and training you have received. We are offering a sign on bonus for experienced technicians. Entry Level Technician

Wiscasset Ford is looking motivated, dependable people to fill multiple entry level positions. Let us help you grow as a technician while earning a living. We want you to be able perform basic vehicle maintenance: Oil changes, tire rotations, balance, air filter replacement, wipers, replace batteries. Our customers safety and satisfaction is our top concern. While vehicles are in the shop it is important that a thorough visual inspection be done. We want to be able to prepare our customers for needed maintenances/repairs while also making them aware of any future needs. We want to help you grow. We will offer onsite training and tool stipend to help you get the tools you need for a successful career!
