Paramount Automotive is looking for automotive technicians to work in our fast-paced service department in Valdese.

* Eligibility for Sign-on Bonus is a minimum of 1 year professional automotive technician experience. Bonus is paid out over a period of time. See hiring manager to see if you qualify.

Duties include:

-- Check tire pressure for proper inflation

-- Check and refill all vital fluids under the hood

-- Check and or replace air and cabin filters

-- Perform transmission, radiator, power steering flushes

-- Add the correct and proper amount of motor oil

-- Drain used oil from engine

-- Replace old oil filter with a new filter

-- Lubricate the chassis and drive-line

-- Perform fuel filter changes

-- Service and check all gear boxes

-- Perform accurate safety checks and process flow procedures

The right candidates will possess:

Job Requirements

-- Drive vehicles into service bay and prepare them for inspection

-- Perform efficiently and productively automotive maintenance procedures such as tire changes, oil changes, transmission flushes, fuel injections and more.

-- Prepare vehicle for delivery to customer

-- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas

-- High School diploma or equivalent

-- 1+ years experience repairing autos/trucks at dealership or automotive center

-- Knowledge of automotive and/or truck systems, tools and technical resources

-- Exceptional customer service skills-- Ability to prioritize and deliver work on time

-- Open to working on Saturdays (We are closed Sundays)
