YPS anesthesia is looking for an experienced, self-motivated, service-minded, and confident CRNA to join its team at AVALA Surgical Hospital in Covington, Louisiana. For this surgical hospital, we utilize medical supervision and the CRNA staff are part of an anesthesia care team model. Call is required for this position but it is very infrequent and not like a traditional On Call position (Call is approximately 3 times / month). Call back is extremely rare and many days end early. No OB coverage is required.
AVALA offers a diverse case mix that will keep your skills sharp. Case types include: general surgery, orthopedic, GI, urology, ENT, spine, optometry, and pain management. CRNAs are encouraged to perform regional and peripheral nerve blocks. YPS is willing to train any provider that needs to increase block competency. Adult anesthetics are the vast majority of cases performed.
CRNA compensation is $232,000/yr with 6 weeks off. This compensation will be paid on a 1099 in exchange for 46 weeks of anesthesia coverage. Providers will have 30 days of time off plus hospital holidays. Malpractice insurance is covered by YPS.
