Position: Fueler & Facilikaite
Use your Aviation Knowledge to help students fly. Fuelers are a critical level of safety controlling the flow of students, aircraft, and instructors. Interact with pilots, maintenance, to gain aviation operational experience.
Responsibilities:
- Use their Aviation Knowledge to fuel aircraft safely and efficiently; Checking weather, maintenance, and flight conditions
- Operate fuel truck, fuel aircraft, and line services safely
- Light facility maintenance; cleaning, organizing etc
- Coordinate scheduling and aircraft maintenance via phone and text with student and instructors
- Answer phone calls and emails promptly and professionally
- Identify customer service, maintenance, and other issues with appropriate solutions
Qualifications:
- Be able to lift 25 pounds safely
- Experience driving light/heavy trucks/vans preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Interpersonal skills with both students and administration
- Superior organization skills, professional appearance, multi-tasking, student-focused,
- Problem solver and able to overcome objections and offer solutions
- Detail oriented and able to keep records of performed activities
- No Flight Instructors

Wayman Aviation Academy is South Florida’s premier flight school for international and local students. The Academy is based at North Perry and Miami-Opa Locka airports and operates a fleet of more than 40 aircraft.
