CardWorks Servicing ("CWS") is one of the largest privately-held provider of outsourcing services for bankcard-related products to banks and non-bank lenders in North America. CWS offers management expertise across the credit spectrum and supports both MasterCard and Visa accounts as well as a variety of private label debit, credit, stored value, and customer bankcards.Position Summary:
Manage all aspects of Compliance data, integrity, and quality and associated controls, which is utilized in the Compliance Management System (CMS). Work with multiple internal DT&D platform teams to provide accurate data utilized by Compliance and shared with internal and external clients and regulators for crucial day to day analytics, reporting and testing.
Essential Functions:
- Leads Compliance Governance data and analytics, which includes designing and implementing data templates and reporting, including key performance indicators and metrics that reflect the true Compliance environment across CWS, and developing repeatable reporting processes that meet the business needs.
- Understands and documents Compliance business unit needs/requirements
- Collaborates with users to recommend technical solutions
- Oversees the planning, analysis and identification of data needed to support requests
- Collaborates with Sandbar team to identify data elements that needs to be added for Compliance’s analytical and reporting purposes
- Leads the process to interact with users to solicit input, assess and evaluate alternatives and formulate business requirements and project deliverables (where applicable)
- Supervises system investigation, problem solving and testing activities associated with licensing examinations, manual and automated Compliance reviews and regulatory reporting
- Validates and approves output using multiple applications such as, but not limited to, Fiserv 3270 session, PCF/DMM/DQ, Fiserv reports, Statement Viewer, etc.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or Computer Science is required or four (4) years of work related experience in lieu of degree requirement
- Ten years of progressive experience in business and systems analysis required
- Financial Services Industry experience specifically Credit Card Servicing and/or loan servicing preferred
- Experience dealing with credit card clients and knowledge of servicing processes.
- Working knowledge of Credit Card and Installment Loan consumer lending regulations
- Strong background in Credit Card processing platforms
- Familiarity with business requirement documentation
- In depth knowledge of Fiserv systems that support servicing and collections
- Familiarity with Installment loan servicing a plus
- Ability to manage multiple short and long-term project tasks in parallel within timeframes assigned based upon regulatory deadlines.
- Effective in gathering & documenting operational and Client business process details as well as working with team members to develop recommended data solutions
- Ability to create accurate and understandable Business requirements documentation, specifications and user Requirements for complex functions and processes.
- Interpretation of Compliance needs and translation of needs into technical requirements and solutions
- Strong problem solving capabilities.
- Ability to effectively communicate with others and to assimilate and understand business and technical information, in a manner consistent with essential job functions.
- Strong organizational skills; ability to multi-task is essential
