Responsibilities:

  • Developing and performance tuning data pipelines using Synapse Notebooks, Azure Data Factory (ADF2) and Azure Data Lake Stores (ADLS).
  • Creating linked services in Synapse and ADF2 to connect cloud and on-prem data to the pipeline.
  • Working with Azure Synapse to create data models used for analytical purposes
  • Work both individually and as a member of a large team

The Requirements

  • 5+ years work experience in a software development environment
  • Solid understanding of Azure Synapse Analytics architecture and component integrations
  • Strong Python and SQL knowledge required
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in implementation and performance tuning of Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Data Bricks or similar implementation
  • Hands on experience with Azure platforms including Azure SQL, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake Storage(2), SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS
  • Understanding of MPP data warehouse architecture
  • 3+ or more years of experience of integration of solutions deployed Azure Cloud with on premise data centers, and with other public cloud providers.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Understanding of Power Bi architecture and integration with Synapse Analytics and SQL Server
  • Experience with Visual Source Safe, MS TFS , Subversion(SVN), Git, Visual Studio, MS DevOps
