Job Title: Backhoe Operator

Schedule: 5/2 (Rotational on call weekends)

Location: McCamey, TX (Candidates residing in McCamey, Crane, Rankin and Iraan, TX highly desired)

Pay: DOE

Job Duties:

  • Follow all customer safety and contractor policies
  • Perform all job tasks safely
  • Keep all work areas clean and organized
  • Perform excavations for line repairs and new line installations
  • Perform general site clean-ups and minor road repairs
  • Inspect, maintain, and keep equipment in good working condition
  • Assist Roustabout crews as needed
  • Working knowledge of oil & gas repair, policies, and safe work practices

Requirements :

  • 2+ years of Oil & Gas Maintenance experience required
  • Experience in pipeline excavation
  • Experience in One-Call process and notifications
  • Must be bilingual
  • Working knowledge of oil and gas production operations
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as by self without direct supervision
  • High School Grad or GED equivalent
  • Ability to work overtime and holidays as needed and must be available for call outs as required
  • Must maintain clear driving record, maintain company vehicle and abide by vehicle policies
  • Must meet all conditional job offer requirements including background, drug, MVR, agility and fit for duty

Physical Demands:

  • The company will provide reasonable accommodations to qualified individuals with disabilities
  • Auditory attention and hearing sensitivity is required, as candidates must possess the ability to distinguish various sounds that serve as key maintenance indicators
  • Exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects
  • Utilizes multi-limb coordination to balance on even or uneven surfaces, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, stand, and walk, reach over shoulders or below the knees
  • Must employ the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by the company’s Environmental, Health, and Safety policies
