Wentworth by the Sea Resort and Spa is seeking Banquet Bartenders to join our team. We specialize in multi-outlet simultaneous events, wedding weekends, and week day corporate events.

This is a dual role and Banquet Bartenders will be cross-trained as Banquet Servers to fill-in when needed.

Daily Activities of our Banquet Bartenders include:

• Build mobile service bars for social events according to event order specifications.
• Maintain responsible alcohol service policies and procedures, including sanitization and safety.
• Reconcile cash, appropriately charge credit cards, and make deposits after shifts. Complete transactions through a Point of Sale system.
• Learn a variety of service styles including American-standard, butler-passed, wave-style, and our premier house practice, presidential-service.
• Impress guests with team-oriented exemplary service.
• Build show-ready presentations and ensure standards are met for each active event room.
• Execute food and beverage service alongside the leadership team.
• Operate within provided assignments and timelines in accordance with the order of events.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the leadership team pertaining to the banquet operation.

A successful Banquet Bartender will have:

• Ability to adapt to a changing and high-service demand work environment.
• Receptive to positive, constructive communication.
• Confidence with guest-facing interactions.
• Reliability in appearing ready for service for each scheduled shift.
• Ability to work cohesively with co-workers and other departments as part of a team.

Pay is an hourly rate plus a portion of a gratuity pool based on weekly total hours and position worked.
