Barista / Cashier (Front of House Staff)
Job description
1- Full time positions - 32+ hrs a week (must be able to work a min of 4-5 days a week).
2 part time: must be able to work 15-25 hours with weekends/holidays (must be able to work a min of 3 days a week).

The Barista / Cashier candidate should be customer focused, motivated, and outgoing. Candidate should be committed to providing outstanding service and quality products every day.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve beverages and food items consistently by adhering to all recipe standards,
- Deliver exceptional customer service.
- Be knowledgeable and enthusiastic about coffee, tea and drink preparation and products.
- Operate POS Cash register for customer orders
- Assist with setup, cleanup, stock work and handling of food items.
- Follows PB operational policies and procedures, including those for cash handling and safety and security, to ensure the safety of all partners during each shift.
- Maintains a clean and organized workspace so that partners can locate resources and product as needed.
- Maintains, or ensures maintenance of, a clean and sanitary working and shopping environment; maintains equipment in accordance with PB cleanliness and safety standards.
- Performs opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned; ensures accuracy of signs and pricing.
- Immediately reports safety hazards and violations.
- Maintains regular and punctual attendance.

- 1+ year experience in food service/hospitality is preferred.
Physical Requirements / Working Conditions
- Must be able to lift 30lbs.
- Standing/walking up to 90% of shift
- Hand use: single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling.
- Work requires the following motions: bending, twisting, squatting and reaching.
- Exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals.
- Exposure to temperatures: < 32 degrees Fahrenheit (freezing), 32-40 degrees Fahrenheit (refrigerators), >90 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Ability to work in wet and dry conditions.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. (year round applicants preferred)
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
