About the Job:
Bartenders at LOA provide a well-rounded food and beverage experience for all of our guests no matter where they are located on our 38,000 square foot rooftop. With four total bar locations, our bartenders must be highly flexible and able to work in both high-volume and precision-focused environments. Our menu boasts a variety of classic and original craft cocktails, 300+ wines from around the world, and a curated selection of the best local and global beers.
We are looking for experienced bartenders with outgoing personalities and a hunger to learn. This is a team oriented environment where all members of the team must work in tandem to provide a one-of-a-kind experience to our guests. We are dedicated to training the next wave of great bartenders by sharing our love of hospitality, food, and beverage.
Requirements:
- Strong food and beverage knowledge.
- Strong understanding of classic cocktails.
- An elevated, professional, and clean appearance.
- Two years of bartending experience.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
- Ability to work outside.
- Must work well on a team.
- Eagerness to learn and to improve as a bartender.
- Passion for hospitality and service.
- POS Experience (experience with Toast is a plus)
- Weekend availability
Duties and responsibilities:
- Full knowledge of food and beverage menus (ingredients, allergies, etc).
- Recreating cocktails to exact specifications.
- Taking drink and food orders in a timely manner.
- Maintaining a clean work station and bar top.
- Anticipating guest needs and making relevant recommendations
- Consistently extend hospitality to every guest.
- Serve multiple guests at the same time.
- Diligent communication with chefs, barbacks, servers, SAs, & managers.
Starting rate: $2.13/hr + Tipout.
About Rooftop L.O.A.
Rooftop LOA (Leave of Absence), a Slater Hospitality concept, is the perfect spot for dining, socializing, private events, and poolside partying with views of the Atlanta skyline. Our 38,000 square foot rooftop consist of four areas including a full-service restaurant, a 1200 square foot resort style pool, an outdoor bar and gathering space, and a 150-person covered event pavilion. This adults-only rooftop with capacity for 1000 people is designed to be a sophisticated escape from the hustle and bustle of the Westside below. The intention for LOA is that guests feel like they are on vacation the moment they check in on the ground floor, before ever heading up to the roof. Once there, we want them to leave their world behind.
