Responsibilities:

• Prepare all alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
• Restock and maintain par levels of all beverages needed for service
• Complete knowledge of food and beverage menu
• Use appropriate garnish and glassware
• Oversee cleanliness and maintenance of all things bar
• Coordinate transfers for any drinking guests that move to the dining room
• Abide by all cash handling procedures set by management
• Assist in all beverage inventories
• Assist in orders and requisitions of all bar to maintain the proper stock of goods
• Communicate daily with MOD for 86’d items
• Other duties as assigned

Skills / Experience:

• 2 years previous high-end restaurant or hotel experience
• RBS Certified
• California Food Handlers Certified
• Cicerone certification a plus
• Expertise in Alcohol and cocktail making in high volume environments
• Experience with food and wine pairing
• Excellent listener & communicator
• Ability to focus on guest interaction and multitask
• Team player and able to anticipate others’ needs
• Understands sequence of service and coursing
• Has worked with Micros or an equivalent POS station
• Availability to work nights, weekends and holidays

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours in length.
• Must be able to exert well-paced ability to maneuver between functions occurring simultaneously.
• May be required to lift trays of food or food items weighing up to 30 lbs.
• Must have the ability to bend, squat and lift 40 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis and occasionally lift up to 75 lbs.
• Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill cleaning tasks.
• Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, twisting, climbing, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity.
• Requires manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment, including, but not limited to, cutlery used in the cutting of fruit for garnishes
