We are looking for talented Bartenders to join our amazing team! Must have at least 2-3 years of prior experience. Elevated service preferred.

Job Summary

Responsible for preparing and serving beverages directly to guests seated at the bar as well as for servers who place orders for seated or standing guest. If applicable, responsible for food service to those guests seated at the bar.

Essential Functions

Must be willing and able to:

• Arrange and set up beverages, beverage mixers and supplies in an efficient and professional manner according to standing operating procedure.
• Complete all sidework as assigned in a timely manner.
• Prepare ingredients needed for recipes of mixed beverages.
• Use equipment as prescribed in preparation of beverages.
• Prepare beverages according to prescribed recipes including alcohol content.
• Use proper method according to standing operating procedure to ensure exact alcohol pour measures.
• Count and be responsible for cash drawer.
• Operate all functions of bar service alone and without assistance if necessary.
• Take and fill food orders from guests seated at the bar
• Communicate cordially, clearly and effectively with co-workers.
• Present and encourage current promotional information and materials to guests.
• Communicate with guests in a friendly, courteous and service oriented manner.
• Operate all functions of barback service alone and without assistance if necessary.
• Accurately account for all guest checks issued.
• Accurately record and account for all items served to guests and other employees.
• Secure manager’s approval and signature for any complimentary or voided item.
• Notify guest of any automatic gratuity or charge
• Accurately accept payment from guests.
• Accurately account for and balance all sales and receipts.
• Accurately tender change for guests, servers, and cocktail servers.
• Account for and maintain security of bar and storage inventories.
• Perform calmly and effectively under pressure.
• Perform more than one task at a time.
• Relate to guests pleasantly and with good humor.
• Perform varied duties to ensure all aspects of bar service according to standing operating procedure.
• To master the restaurant’s computerized register system within 5 days.
• Handle and accurately account for large sums of money while under pressure.

• Acquire and wear uniform prescribed in training manual.
• Maintain and clean uniform.
• Maintain a well manicured appearance and persona that reflects the established image of the company.

• Follow supervisor’s instructions.
• Work under more than average stressful conditions.
• Make appropriate judgment calls under stressful conditions.
• Ensure that all alcoholic beverages are correctly recorded on guest checks by servers and cocktail servers.
• Assist servers in preparing appropriate presentation of beverage.
• Maintain clean and orderly work area throughout shift and leave it ready for the following shift.
• Determine when to speak with a manager on discontinuing service to an intoxicated guest.
• Responsibly and immediately advise co-workers and manager of any suspected intoxication of guest.
• Communicate problems to management immediately.
