We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager to join our Client in the US Logistics industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in driving sales and revenue growth, building and maintaining strong client relationships, and developing new business opportunities in the logistics sector.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue and growth targets for US Logistics
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the logistics industry, including identifying potential customers and developing business proposals
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify industry trends, competitive landscape, and potential business opportunities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, marketing, and finance, to ensure successful execution of sales strategies and business development initiatives
- Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote the company's services and brand
- Manage the sales pipeline and track sales performance metrics, providing regular reports to the senior management team
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and regulations
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in business development or sales in the logistics industry
- Proven track record in achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify opportunities for growth and improvement
- Knowledge of logistics industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a results-oriented approach
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
