Position Details:

• Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday or Sunday-Thursday; hours typically range in the afternoon/night depending on schedule needs of the individual
• Mileage Reimbursement! Position requires commuting around the Tucson area

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Arizona’s Meet Me Where I Am program provides in-home remedial intervention for at-risk youth and families identifying youth and family strengths and needs to enhance the Child and Family Team (CFT) planning process. We work with families and youths in their homes, teaching a variety of skills ranging from self-care, household management, living, and social.

We are looking for talented individuals who have experience working in Behavioral Health, with families and at-risk youth to be a positive role model and impact on our families! As a Behavior Coach, you will provide in-home remedial intervention for at-risk youth and families (working with children, youth, and adults) under the Arizona 12 Principles and in conjunction with the Child and Family Team Model. Behavior Coaches teach a variety of skills such as living, social, self-care, and household management to children adolescents, parents, and care-givers.

Qualifications:

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• High School Diploma or GED; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in related field highly preferred
• Previous experience as a Behavior Coach highly preferred; experience working in the behavioral health field
• Computer skills such as MS Office, email, internet, and database experience; must be able to type at least 30 WPM
• Documentation and Field experience

OTHER

• Must possess (or have the ability to obtain) a AZ Level One Fingerprint Clearance card with NO restrictions
• Must be able to pass 39-month DMV check
• Must be able to complete and provide proof of current influenza vaccination
• Devereux requires all individuals interviewing for a position involving contact with children to complete The Diana Screen, a screening that assesses a candidate’s understanding of appropriate boundaries between adults and children
