BEHAVIOR TECHNICIAN - WEST FARGO PUBLIC SCHOOLS
POSITION: Behavior Technician - West Fargo Public Schools
TERM: 9-month position, approximately 6.5 hours per day, following the school calendar
SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the classroom teacher and behavior specialist, the behavior technician supports students with daily instructional and non-instructional activities in order to provide skills instruction and behavior reduction protocols. The behavior technician supports teachers within the district's Special Education Department, particularly those at the elementary level.
QUALIFICATIONS:
SALARY: Starting pay approximately $16.22/hour - $16.71/hour, following the Classified Staff Salary Schedule for the 2022-2023 school year. The annual salary listed for this position is the base cash salary and excludes retirement contributions. For qualified classified positions, the district contributes 8.26% of the employee’s annual salary to the North Dakota Public Employees Retirement System (NDPERS).
