Behavioral Health Therapist (Youth and Family) – Central Oregon*

Position:*
Rimrock Trails residential treatment program in Prineville, Oregon is looking for a gifted and experienced Behavioral Health Therapist who is passionate about helping and empowering adolescent clients’ lives and providing them with a brighter future.
Our therapists provide co-occurring mental health and substance use therapy, case management and care coordination for a caseload of adolescents in our residential treatment program. They work with the client, family and the care team to implement developmentally appropriate evidence-based clinical interventions and trauma-informed therapy.

Salary:

  • $90,000-95,000

Responsibilities:

  • Delivers clinical interventions consistent with needs of clients, in a safe and ethical manner that promote and sustain mental health stability.
  • Demonstrates competency in: Group Therapy, Individual Counseling, and Family Counseling.
  • Optimizes the collaboration and coordination of the interdisciplinary team to enhance the environment of client care.
  • Performs crisis intervention as needed.
  • Demonstrates a commitment to developing strong working relationships with leadership, colleagues, and clients.
  • Submits documentation in a timely manner aligned with the electronic medical record.

Location: On site – Prineville, Oregon
Schedule: Three, 10-hour days onsite

Requirements: Education Required:

  • Master's degree in Counseling/Behavioral Health/Social Work

Qualifications Required:

  • 5+ years’ experience.
  • Prior experience working with at risk youth.
  • Competency providing co-occurring disorder therapy.
  • Experience and competency in working with adolescents.
  • Competency providing trauma therapy.
  • Competency providing family therapy.
  • Professional Licensure (LPC, LMFT, LCSW) OR the ability to obtain within two years.
  • Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC I, II or III) OR the ability to obtain within one year.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
