We are currently seeking an experienced Benefits Administrator for our global headquarters in Saint Clair Shores, MI. This position is responsible for supported Fisher Dynamics employees across all U.S. divisions with benefits and leave of absences.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate daily benefits processing.
- Handle enrollments, COBRA, terminations, changes, beneficiaries, disability, accident and death claims, etc.
- Serve as primary contact for plan vendors and third-party administrators.
- Coordinate transfer of data to external contacts for services, premiums and plan administration.
- Evaluate and revise internal processes to reduce costs and increase efficiency.
- Document and maintain administrative procedures for assigned benefits processes.
- Ensure compliance with applicable government regulations. Ensure timeliness and accuracy of required reporting and fees.
- Adhere to laws, rules and regulations, including personal data privacy regulations
- Responsible for administering employees LOA following all federal and state guidelines, including; Determining the applicable laws, reviewing organizational policies, procedures and practices, approving or disapproving LOAs and documentation, taking actions as the situation progresses, and performing ongoing evaluation and analysis.
- Oversee maintenance of employee benefits files, maintain group benefits database and update employee payroll records.
- Gather employee data and oversee the processing of monthly billings and the preparation of vouchers for payment of administrative fees for all group plans.
- Allocate group health and dental claims monthly and review quarterly.
- Design and distribute materials for benefits orientations, open enrollment and summary plan descriptions.
- Work under tight deadlines
- Additional duties and special projects as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:
- 4-year degree in Human Resources, or relevant education and experience.
- 3-5 years benefits administration
- Experience supporting organizations with 500+ employees
- Experience with FMLA and LOA administration
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
- Ability to work with various levels of manufacturing and executive personnel
- MS Office proficiency
- Use HRIS, payroll systems, Plex and ADP preferred
- Local travel as required
WORK EXPERIENCE: Working environment and physical requirements of this position are those typical of an office setting and manufacturing environment.
