The Automotive Call Center Agent is responsible for contacting interested customers to set appointments for the Sales Team. Call Center Agent also provides support on inbound phone calls, setting appointments, and transferring phone calls. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. A positive attitude and willingness to be a team member are essential to this position. Starting wage is $15 per hour plus bonuses.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Dedication to Customer Satisfaction in all actions and interactions with customers.
  • Responsible for making sure that all phone leads are contacted and followed up in proper manner.
  • Responsible for following sales team process when contacting customers.
  • Schedule sales appointments with sales consultants by assigning contacts to any individual who is specifically requested or by ensuring that all consultants are given equal opportunity to appointments set.
  • Make phone calls and handle incoming calls in a professional and enthusiastic manner.
  • Help maintain records going into the dealership’s DMS and scheduler.
  • Keep abreast of sales specials and how they benefit customers.
  • Attend sales meetings.
  • Understand the manufacturer warranty and special programs offered by the manufacturer.
  • Act as a spokesperson for the company while on the phone with prospective customers by emphasizing and up-selling all services provided by the dealership from sales, to service to rental cars.
  • Start some service BDC measurements, and set some Service BDC standards.
