Job Summary

The Dispatcher will receive and dispatch orders for our product deliveries. The Dispatcher will also address problems and requests by transmitting information and/or providing solutions.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Receive and dispatch orders for products and deliveries.
• Prioritize call according to urgency and importance.
• Use phone to call or text installation crews, providing important information or updates during the shift.
• Monitor the route and status of field units to coordinate and prioritize their schedule.
• Provide field units with information about orders, traffic, obstacles, and requirements.
• Enter data in computer system and maintain logs and records of calls, activities, and other information.
• Assist in unloading truck and checking in material.
• Stay in communication with customers in case of a discrepancy.

Qualifications

Education:

• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent education and experience combined.

Experience:

• Bilingual (English & Spanish)
• Proven experience as Dispatcher or relevant position.
• Sound judgment and critical thinking.
• Organized, thorough, and detail-oriented.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Good verbal communication skills.
• Mathematical skills; ability to understand dimensions.
• Technical capacity and knowledge of computer applications, specifically Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to multi-task, handling numerous assignments simultaneously with quick transitions.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Time management skills; ability to prioritize work to adapt to a fast-paced environment and perform well under stress.
