Continental Expedited Services, Inc. has immediate openings for Bilingual Logistics Specialist.

Duties entail:

  • Dispatching trucks and drivers for OTR (over the road) operations
  • Customer service and quoting, utilizing outside carriers to accommodate customer needs when units are not available of a fleet of drivers/trucks
  • Communication and related tasks between other office staff, customers, and drivers

No logistics experience necessary, but must be proficient in the following:

  • Fluent in both Spanish and English (written and spoken)
  • Computer skills- Outlook, Microsoft Office; Excel, Word (5 years)
  • Telephone and email etiquette
  • Proofreading and proper grammar
  • Customer service/high stress situation management
  • Ability to quickly learn and utilize our software
  • Geographical knowledge of the lower 48, Canada, and Mexico
  • Bachelor's Degree (Required)

Must be comfortable with:

  • Collaborating with others with individual perspective respectively
  • Regularly using mathematics accurately
  • Working closely with other office staff, and at other times working with no supervision
  • Working some weekends and holidays

Schedule:

  • 10 hour shift Monday to Friday
  • Availability to work some weekends
  • Availability to work some during holidays
  • Occasional travel to other Continental terminals
