Billing Coordinator

Our busy Optometry office is looking for a Billing Coordinator to join our team. The Billing Coordinator is responsible for the following:

• Verifying the accuracy of billing data and revising any errors
• Reviewing patient ledger in order to compute fees and charges due
• Recording and processing patient data including insurance information, bills, and payments
• Managing customer accounts, collecting payments, and updating accounts to reflect changes
• Preparing patient statements
• Answering customer questions about billing and resolving any errors
• Cross training in Patient Service Representative position

Must be friendly, professional, a team player, and customer service focused. Experience is preferred, however we are willing to train the right candidate. The position could either be full or part time with competitive pay and benefits. Traveling to both offices (Dennis and Harwich) will be required. Please respond with resume.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
