Early Head Start Teacher: Birth to 3
Clara's Little Lambs Preschool Academy is a family-owned and operated Tier III childcare facility. The school has been serving the Algiers/ New Orleans community since 1986. We are committed to providing quality, affordable child care. The facility has over 10,000 square feet with eight wonderfully equipped playgrounds, which include play space for infants. Clara's Little Lambs Preschool Academy is committed to providing a safe, healthy learning environment designed to stimulate a child's physical, cognitive, creative, and emotional development. We are looking for qualified candidates passionate about children and child care.

Responsibilities include:

Reporting to work on time

Keeping your classroom clean and ready to be seen at all times

Working with a co-teacher.

Implementing lesson plans weekly for the group and individual children.

Using the Creative Curriculum and Teaching Strategies Gold.

Following all company and state licensing policies and procedures.

Desired Qualifications:

- 1.5+ years of experience with children from birth to three

- Age Group- Infants, Toddlers, and Threes

- Associate or Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or Child Development Associate (CDA) in Infants and Toddlers prefered

- Pass Federal Background Check

-First Aid and CPR Certified

-Teaching Strategies Gold Training

- Creative Curriculum Training

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $13.50 - $20.00 per hour

COVID-19 considerations:
Staff are provided with masks, and other PPE equipment to maintain their safety while caring for children. Children and staff who are sick are required to stay home.

Ability to commute/relocate:

• New Orleans, LA 70114: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

License/Certification:

• CPR Certification (Preferred)
• Child Development Associate Certification (Preferred)
