We are seeking a Bookkeeper with great interpersonal skills and a background in accounting to join our team. The firm offering this long-term contract / temporary to hire Bookkeeper role is based in the Wauwatosa, Wisconsin area. - Design Accounts Receivable invoices, analyzing payments received, and record deposits
- Support quality archived records by filing documents
- Oversee and maintain a well-run system to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts; define bookkeeping policies and procedures
- Oversee and manage general ledger
- Care for accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions
- Settle accounts by reconciling entries
- Assemble financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information
- BS Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred
- Experience using accounting software
- Previous experience as a Bookkeeper preferred
- Proficiency in account reconciliation
- Solid understanding of journal entries
- Experience with Balance Sheet Reconciliation
- Expertise in Basic Bookkeeping
- Proven knowledge of Enter Invoices
- Bank reconciliations experience preferred
