- Developed programs appropriate to needs of residents in facility to achieve highest level of functioning.
- Supervised, oriented, trained, and counseled department employees to improve job performance and maintain high standards of patient care.
- Monitored and inspected staff processes to eliminate safety issues for patients and staff while ensuring continuous compliance with regulations.
- Direct day-to-day administrative, and operational functions for 31 bed facility, providing guidance and leadership to the employees.
- Developed and update policies and procedures, established brain injury daily programing along with live skills, and developed family education weekly meetings.
- Supervisor, oriented, trained life skill employees
- Initiate and support goals implemented by the clinical team and ensure brain injury waiver guidelines are adhered to and implemented
- Plan the programs from start to completion involving deadlines, milestones and progresses
- Provide a safe and caring environment to residents.
- Provide support and conflict resolution for staff; communicate regulations of the program.
- Lead additional training as needed for new staff
- Interview candidates
- Adhere by the budgets and operations

Qualifications
Formal Education/Formal Training: Graduate from an approved R.N. program.
Certification/Registration/Licensure: Must possess as a minimum a current, unencumbered license to practice as an R.N. in Kansas. BSN is desired.
Job Related Experience: Background in rehabilitation, medical-surgical, or neurology nursing is desired. Supervisory or charge nurse experience desired.
